Seeking Aid for Retired Connecticut String Teachers
For those ASTA members in CT who know Ann and Bill Clemmons: Ann is a retired orchestra teacher from the Madison Schools. Ann and Bill started the Shoreline Youth Symphony in Madison many years ago and grew it into a fine youth orchestra. Recently, due to a power surge after the second northeaster, their home was badly damaged by a fire. If any members would like to donate to help them rebuild there are two ways to contribute. Local friends have set up a go fund me page at the link below.
Contributions can also be made through their church, the North Madison Congregational Church, please make checks out to the church with Clemmons in the memo line. The church address is 1271 Durham Road Madison CT 06433 in care of the office manager Jackie Fix. If you could share this with ASTA members, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Chris Cohen (posted 3/19/2018)
